Devoree is happy that her honey, like the virtue of inspiration, can energize everyone with whom she shares it. Devoree admires her hero, Elizabeth, who inspired faith and joy in her young cousin, Mary, and who inspired courage in her son John the Baptist. (Devoree also likes knowing that one of John the Baptist’s favorite foods was wild honey.)
