Amel the Camel is a young camel in the caravan of the three wise men. 

He is the Tiny Virtue Hero of WISDOM

Amel’s virtue strength of WISDOM is the use of knowledge to seek and do what is right. He discovered from the three Wise Men that the everyday virtue power of wisdom grows when we choose love, prayer, and sacrifice. Amel’s hero is Balthazar, with whom - and the other Wise Kings - he joyfully journeyed to Bethlehem to bring gifts to the little child Jesus. Amel is a friendly sidekick whose example invites children to respect, admire, and learn from the “wisdom figures” in their lives.
