Sal, the sardine, is the Tiny Virtue Hero of HUMOR. Many people don’t realize that humor can be a virtue, but Sal does. He and his seventy thousand brothers and sisters used to like to listen to Jesus preach from a boat on the sea of Galilee.  Sal’s habit of looking for the lighter side of life to bring joy to others, helps him to be virtue-strong. Sal admires the friendly banter between Jesus and His apostles like Andrew, Peter’s younger brother. Sal noticed that their virtuous humor laughs WITH, not AT, people or situations.
