Chucar the partridge is the Tiny Virtue Hero of SELF-DISCIPLINE. We imagine her tending her nest and babies located near the top of Mount Golgotha when Jesus was brought there to be crucified. Chucar is willing to do whatever is needed in order to protect her little ones. She witnessed the incredibly heroic virtue strength of Jesus crucified, showing His love in words, and actions, and suffering. She saw that He was not a prisoner. With sacrificially powerful self-discipline, He chose to allow them to put him on the cross, and He continued to love both friends and enemies at the same time. Jesus, and Chucar, show us that sometimes love...is so much more than kisses and hugs.
